The Il-10 attack aircraft saw action in the closing stages of World War II and in Korea. The improved Il-10M did not appear until around 1950. This particular aircraft tested an auxiliary rocket engine in its tail to improve performance, but this was not proceeded with and the Il-10M was used only for training purposes.

A not-so-great replica of a not-so-great fighter. Underpowered, difficult to fly and suffering from poor building quality, the LaGG-3 was disliked by its pilots. Its radial-engined offspring, the La-5, a replica of which is seen second in line, was much better.

The La-5 could match German fighters at lower altitudes, and almost 10,000 examples were built - but very little survives of them, and this is just a reasonable replica, painted as an aircraft flown by the ace, Georgii Kostylev.

The MiG-15 was built in staggering numbers - some 6,500 for the two-seat UTI trainer alone, including 2,012 made by Aero in Prague with the local designation CS-102. Clearly Aero worked for the international 'market' too.
