Very smart looking Jetstar in prefect Arizona weather. Delivered to the USAF in November 1961 as 61-2489. Transferred to 58th MAS. Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) with inventory number CL0006. Loaned to Pima in September 1987.

Delivered to the US Army in April 1960 as 58-1005. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number XK0022. Transferred to Pima in 1972. Sometime after 1991, the aircraft was painted in the markings of the 90th Transportation Company, Illesheim, West Germany, 1965. Photographed in a hangar and under restoration in March 2020.

Constructed as a B-50D-125-BO and delivered to the USAF around 1949 as 49-0372. Coverted to a KB-50/ tanker KB-50D in 1956. Converted with 2 turbojets to a KB-50J in 1958. Loaned to Pima at some point between 1958 and 1977.

Constructed as a C-82A-15-FA and delivered to the US Army Air Force as 44-23006 in August 1946. To a private owner in January 1956 as N6997C. To other owners and stored at Tucson airport between 1969 and 1983. in 1977 the registration was cancelled. In 1983 the aircraft was transferred to Pima. It was restored around 1996, in the markings of a C-82 operated by the 7th Geodic Squadron, 55th Strategic Reconnaissance Group, Forbes AFB.

The bulldog looks like he has been in a few battles.

Constructed as a RC-121D and delivered to the USAF as 53-0554 in October 1955. Redesignated as EC-121D in September 1963. The first EC1-21 to reach 20.000 hours (in 1968). Redesignated as C-121T in Septmber 1970. Transferred to the USAF Reserves at Homestead AFB in October 1974. Retired and ferried to Davis-Monthan AFB for storage in February 1976. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CK0197. Transferred to Pima in 1981. Judging photos, the aircraft underwent restoration between 2012 and 2017. Photographed outside again in October 2019 with a fresh coat of paint.

Built in 1972. To the museum by 1985.

Ex. 29646 with the US Navy. Constructed as a SNB-2C, converted to SNB-3P in 1946. In 1953, a new construction number was assigned (N-1082). Redesignated as TC-45J (1962) and UC-45J (1964). To The US Army as 29646. After its operational life, the aircraft was loaned to Pima and put on display. The civil registration was reportedly derived from the street address of the museum (6000 E Valencia Road).

If only this beauty could take to the air once more.

Constructed as a KC-135B and delivered to the USAF in February 1965 as 63-8057. Transferred to 22nd AREFS at March AFB in March 1965. Transferred to 34th AFRES at Offutt AFB. Converted to an EC-135C Night Watch II between December 1965 - June 1966 and transferred to the 1000th Airborne Command and Control Squadron at Andrews AFB. Redesignated as EC-135J in May 1967. Transferred to the 9th Airborne Command and Control Squadron at Hickam AFB in October 1975. Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) with inventory number CA014 in March 1992. To Pima in April 1993 and displayed with the vertical stab. of EP-135P 55-3129. In the background, 2 A-10's can be seen climbing our from nearby Davis-Monthan AFB.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-21819 in 1944 for use as a target drone. Registered as N1063M in 1971 Registration cancelled and to the museum in 1972.

Derelict remains in the storage area. Parts were used in the restoration of N322FA. Former US Navy Bu48396. To the museum in 2004.

One of only two of the type built. Still has MASDC inventory code CW002 on the nose.

Constructed as a H-34A-SI and delivered to the US Army in January 1958 as 57-1684. Converted to a H-34C in January 1960, by February 1960 it was designated as a VH-34C. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 3H0268 in October 1972. Loaned to Pima by the National Naval Aviation Museum. By 1991 the pictured marking were applied. Photographed in March 2020 with the paint completely stripped for restoration.

Massive props and engines and they are augmented by outboard jet engines.

Constructed using major sections of B377 Stratocruiser N1038V, ex Pan Am, and retaining its original Boeing c/n.

Ag sprayer of the fifties on display at the Pima Air Museum. Designed by Leyland Snow, who went on to found the Air Tractor company.

Built as a 377 and delivered to Pan American World Airways in September 1949 as N1038V. Initially it was named Clipper Constitution, later renamed Clipper Hotspur. Withdrawn from use and stored at New York in 1960. To Boeing, (August 1960), Lee Mansdorf & Co. (October 1960) and Aero Spacelines (1963), where it was converted to a 377SGT. By August 1965 it was registered N1038V again. In September 1965, the aircraft was involved in an incident at/near Mojave (CA); the airframe failed in-flight (while cruising). The factors included separation in flight and damage was substantial. The aircraft was able to make an emergency landing and there were no fatalities. NASA have had 2 377's registered as N940NS, the other one being c/n 16724.

Delivered to the USAF in April 1951 as 48-636. To a private owner in 1955 as N2573B, then to Mexico in 1956 as XB-GEY. Back to the US in May 1968, again as N2573B. Registration cancelled in Dec 1970, and donated to the Pima museum in 1973. The c/n for this airframe (ex 48-636) is widely quoted as 2520, but C-125s 48-628 to 48-640 are c/n 2513 to 2525, not c/n 2512 to 2524 as previously thought (because c/n 2512 was not built). This means that 48-636/N2573B/XB-GEY is in fact c/n 2521.

Built for the USAAF as AT-7C 43-50222 but delivered to the US Navy as SNB-2C 29646 in 1944. Converted to an SNB-3P in 1946 then to an SNB-5 with new c/n N-1082 in 1953. Redesignated as a UC-45J in 1962. To the US Army in 1970. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1975 then to the Museum in 1977. Painted in fake markings as N6000V from 1985 to 2011, when it was repainted back to 29646.
