On display in the Presidential Gallery at NMUSAF. This aircraft replaced FDR's VC-54 "Sacred Cow" on 4 July 1947 as the air transport for President Harry S. Truman. Named "The Independence" after Truman's hometown of Independence, Missouri, the aircraft featured many improvements including reversible pitch propellers, weather radar, autopilot and larger fuel tanks. The aircraft was retired from presidential service in May 1953. It went on display in the museum in 1965.

Ex-USN F-4N 151424, originally ordered as an F4H-1, but redesignated F-4B-16-MC prior to delivery. The original dataplate is still present, which reveals she was built under contract number NOW63-0062, and accepted by the USN 19 November 1963. However, it also gives the c/n as 6341 for unknown reasons. Marked as F-4D 63-7660, of the 906th TFG at Wright-Patterson AFB during the 1980s.

Front seater's instrument panel. This is actually the cockpit section of F-4N 151424, which was used during the filming of the ABC TV Series "Call to Glory" for cockpit scenes. It is displayed as F-4D 66-7660, assigned to the 906th TFG at Wright-Patterson AFB in the 1980s. This wasn't my first time sitting in this airplane, but the last time it happened I was quite a bit shorter.

On display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The Erla Haube canopy is visible along with a taller tail unit. This is a U-4 that came equipped with the MK 108 30mm Motorkanone firing through the propeller hub. Previously a G-6, it was re-manufactured as a G-14 or G-10 that served as "Black 2" with II/JG 52. After being surrendered, it was shipped to the USA. The fighter is painted as a G-10 of JG 300 "Hermann" that was formed in June 1943. It wears the Reichsverteidigung blue-white-blue band of JG 300 on the fuselage.

The most recent addition to the Air Force Museum's collection is an exotic one indeed! (Almost certainly) formerly N132SU with Tactical Air Support Inc, and originally 61 Blue with the Ukrainian Air Force. Photos can only do partial justice to just how big the Flanker truly is in person. Moved into her new display position in the museum's Cold War Gallery on October 30, 2023.

7/30/57: TOS USAF and delivered to the 28th Bomb Wing (Heavy) (SAC), Ellsworth AFB, SD. During its career it served in several squadrons and deployed to Vietnam; during one deployment, on 9 April 1972 , it was severely damaged by a surface-to-air missile and grounded for repairs. Once most damage was fixed the plane flew to Castle AFB, CA, to complete repairs and by December it was back in Thailand flying combat missions over Vietnam. It's last unit was 97th Bomb Wing, Blytheville AFB, AR. 11/78: Ferried to the Air Force Museum.

On display in the Southeast Asia War Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This 363rd TRG recce Voodoo was flown by Captain Ray Schrecengost in Op Sun Run. Named "Cin Min" for his daughters, it was the lead aircraft among four RF-101Cs which set three new transcontinental speed records in 1957 using four AARs each way. It flew with 363rd TRW during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The 'C' variant was used in combat during the Vietnam War, where this Voodoo served with 45th TRS at Tan Son Nhut AB.
