VH-EWE flew with East West Airlines with a DC-3-style passenger door. After it was sold it was soon refitted with a C-47 double cargo door and used for freight work.-EWE was withdrawn from use in 1983 and became a McDonald's restaurant in Adelaide. It was painted in its original registration of VH-AER but the TAA livery applied was later than any it wore with that airline. -EWE is now held on a farm at Karoonda, South Australia.
Leased by Ansett to Setair from January, 1983 to March 1983. It had been with subsidiary Air NSW but after the lease was operated by Ansett Airlines before again ending up with Air NSW until it was sold.
