Registered N9323T when exported to Canada in 1965, this Cessna 180C became CF-SMS. In 2018 Chimo Air Service was acquired by Superior Airways and their Noorduyn Norseman sold.

Drifting back to its Chimo Air Service dock at Howey Bay, on Red Lake. Delivered in 1958 to the US Army as 58-1688. Saw active service in Vietnam, sustaining enemy gunfire damage in 1968. Converted to turbine power with a Walter engine at Kelowna in 2004.

Docked at Chimo Air Service's base at Howey Bay on Red Lake. In the background to the right is yellow and red Norseman CF-DRD mounted on a plinth in the middle of the town of Red Lake, which styles itself "The Norseman Capital of the World" and hosts an annual fly-in Norseman Festival. CF-JIN had , just a few days previously, suffered damage at its moorings in a particularly heavy hailstorm which had passed through the area.

Diving over the town of Red Lake, to splash down in Howey Bay near Chimo Air Service's docks. Originally delivered to the Ontario Provincial Air Service (OPAS) in 1956. Vazar conversion to PT-6A turbine power in 2010.

Seen at its Howey Bay base, the Chimo Air Service docks in the centre of Red Lake. Three Norsemen can be seen in this shot. In addition to CF-KAO, on the right is the tail of CF-JIN, also of Chimo Air Service. Above it is a glimpse of the yellow and red CF-DRD, which is displayed on a pole in support of the town of Red Lake, which is the self-styled " Norseman Capital of the World" and the host of annual Norseman Festivals for around 30 years now.
