Rebuilt in 1975 as composite aircraft incorporating msn 289 and msn 22487 taking on identity of the former. Active with Rich until 1983, thereafter stored Miami. Southwest Aviation 1989, ferried to las Cruces, NM and stored. Acquired by Yanks Air Museum 2000 and flown to Chino, CA. Still unrestored in faded Rich colours 2018.

Pictured in the lovely Golden Hour at a remote airfield in New Mexico, Some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico. This G-702 was retired from the Naval Air Training Command by 30 April 2012. The Turbo Mentor is preserved at Priceville (AL) since April 2017. BuNo 164173 was the very last T-34C delivered to the US Navy. They used some 350 of these trainers.

After its training career with TAW-4, this T-34C was dumped at Corpus Christi. It was struck off charge on 16 September 2009. The dumped Mentor was last seen at Corpus in late 2010. 160521 was one of some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), that were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico.

Arrived at the 309th AMARG on 14 February 2012, no inventory code known. 162253 was one of some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), that were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico.

Arrived at the 309th AMARG on 28 September 2016, no inventory code known. 160491 was one of some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), that were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico. In the back ground T-34C 161819/G-757 of TAW-4 can be seen.

Arrived at the 309th AMARG on 7 May 2014, no inventory code known. 161808 was one of some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), that were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico.

In contrast with many T-34Cs, this aircraft was not flown over to AMARG after its training career, but it was re-assigned to the Strike Fighter Weapons School Atlantic (SFWSL) at NAS Oceana (VA). The aircraft is since furnished in a blue colour scheme. 162635 was one of some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), that were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico.

This Turbo mentor crashed into Gulf of Mexico on 24 August 2011. Both crew maneged to get out of the trainer and safely took a swim before they were rescued by the US Coast Guard. Became N5538V, and from '61 owned by Star Flite Inc as N706ME (named Initiator V). Cvtd by On Mark Engineering Co at Van Nuys (CA) '63-'64 and served WR Bailard, Ventura (CA) from '66-'72 as N36BB (as Coastal Luck IV). Sold to Micky Rupp, Mansfield (OH) '74 as N26MR, then Sherman Aircraft Sales from Jan'75 as N26WB. Then several owners up to '92. Became N706ME with Lane Ethridge/Nostalgia Inc., Denton (TX) but still as N26WB. Active from Las Cruses up to '09, then stored.

Only marked N550 (carried in very small print below the tailplane), and in the cockpit as 44-34555, this fuselage of an Invader was seen at Las Cruses. It was officially reregistered to N26HK in August 1989, but it appears that this reg was never applied. The reg N26HK was cancelled on 18 October 2022.

A 1945 built PV-2 Harpoon, stored at Las Cruses. The Harpoon was deliverd to the US Navy with BuNo 37254. After its military career it was sold in March 1985 to Southwest Aviation at Las Cruces Municipal Airport. Just visible on the fuselage is registration N7248C.
