About to land on Runway 12 for a freight pick-up at Prestwick. Arrived from Sigonella, Sicily and departed to Gdańsk, Poland as CNV6611. Taken on charge new by the US Navy in 2014.

New paint job for CTW-6 out of NAS Pensacola! Formerly painted on the F-4 Phantom, it's a neat tribute to the history of the U.S. Navy and the legacy of jets throughout the years.

Another VP-5 operated P-8A Poseidon about to touch down at RAF Lossiemouth.

Although devoid of any unit markings, this APS-154 Advanced Airborne Sensor equipped P-8A Poseidon is rumoured to be operated by VP-5.

The 'piano keys' at the end of the runway reflect on the nose of '341' when it taxies off the runway at RAF Lossiemouth after an operational mission out in the east.

Delivered to the US Navy as J4F-2 Bu32976 on 21 Sep 1943. Transferred to Edo Aircraft Corp in Jan 1947 for hull development work. Went through several hull designs, of which this was the last one. The converted Widgeon was nicknamed "Petulant Porpoise" in early 1948, and loaned to NACA (later NASA) from 28 Feb 1950 until 8 Jun 1953. Effective 15 Dec 1952 the US Navy consistently used the non-standard type designation E-175 for this aircraft. Struck off charge 8 Feb 1956 (total time 975 hours) and stored at Norfolk NAS, VA. Delivered to the National Air Museum (Smithsonian) on 15 Sep 1960, but kept in storage. To the Fighter Aircraft Museum on 14 Feb 1977, and again kept in storage. Loaned to the Pima Air Museum in 1987.

Displayed at Buffalo since 1979. 143610 was initially painted in the blue and gold colours of Buffalo Sabres ice hockey team in the mistaken belief that the aircraft was a F-86 Sabre. When this was pointed out, 14310 was repainted in its final Navy markings of VA-126 Squadron.
