On display at Pima Air & Space Museum. This aircraft was taken on charge by the USN on 30 Dec 1943 as BuNo 16161. It was assigned as a carrier qualifications trainer, which went over the side while landing on USS Wolverine on 12 Apr 1945. The Wildcat was recovered from the bottom of Lake Michigan in 1996.
