Interestingly, it was not to be UK registered and between its cancellation from the Australian register in February 1959 and its addition to the Philippines register in December that year it remained unregistered. Leased to TAA by Vickers- Armstrongs between 15 March 1958 and 31 January 1959, and was the first aircraft in Australia to operate with weather radar fitted.

Initially leased to TAA as VH-TVO, this Viscount was earmarked for a sheikh in Kuwait with the registration K-AAAA but ntu. Having been built as a V.745D for United, she was converted to V.784D and sold to PAL as PI-C772 in 12.59. Delivered to Falconair Charter at Malmo as SE-CNK in 5.67; airline renamed Skyline in 8.71. Operated by Falconair between May 1967 and sale to Malmo Aero in March 1971. Visiting Ringway on an ad hoc passenger charter.
