First flight September 18th 1961 at Schipol and delivered new to LTU as D-BAKU in November 1961. In 1967 it flew 8 months as PH-FSG for Luxair, D-BAKU again November 1967. IN 1968 it flew 6 months for Sobelair as D-BAKU. Returned to Fokker May 1969 as PH-FSG. In August 1970 VH-MMB Ansett MMA. March 1971 VH-MMB East-West Airlines. September 18th 1978 LN-NOH Air Executive Norway, September 1980 tranferred to Busy Bee. Repainted 1982. December 1987 PH-SFE Schreiner Airways. January 1993 ST-AWA Air West Company, March 23rd 1993 written off Ethiopia after emergency landing after running out fuel.

Not to be confused with F-27 c/n 10137 that used the same registration from 1983 to 1994.

Registered to Schreiner Airways on 1 Jan 1988, but with additional "International Air Training" titles.

A rarely photographed aircraft in East West Airlines livery.

Just under three months after this photo was taken the aircraft was written off on 23 March, 1993, in a forced landing 175 miles from Addis Ababa. The following is an extract from ASN: The F-27 strayed off course and a precautionary landing had to be made due to fuel exhaustion. The aircraft collided with trees on rollout. The left wing broke off and the gear collapsed.

Delivered to Ansett Transport Industries with MMA titles. The aircraft entered the Australian register 4 August 1970. It was later operated by East West Airlines in March 1971. Finally sold to Air Executive A/S Norway in July 1978 as LN-NPH.

Registered to Schreiner Airways on 1 Jan 1988, and has additional "International Air Training" titles. This aircraft was leased to Air West Express as ST-AWA 10 Jan 1993 and was sadly written off in an off airport emergency landing, near Addis Ababa 1993-03-23, due to fuel starvation after having strayed off course. Luckily all crew and passengers survived.

VH-MMB was a bit of an outsider, the only 300 series F27 to be registered in Australia. It was purchased by Ansett for MacRobertson Miller Airlines in August 1970 but then sold in sold seven months later to East-West. When EWA's plans or -MMB fell through, it was used mainly for charters and to cover peak holiday demand and the absence of other aircraft under maintenance, both is own and other airlines. In 1978 -MMB was sold in Norway as LN-NPH.
