After wartime service with the USAAF as 42-72209, the C-54A was operated post-war as N90432 by American Airlines (1946-1950, Eastern Airlines (1950-1955) and leased to Flying Tiger Line, probably supporting Cold War DEW Line radar site contraction in the Arctic. Pacific Western Airlines imported it as CF-PWB in it Nov. 1957 and it flew with the airline for 15 years until sold to Cryderman Air Service as "N-74183" in Nov. 1972. It was photographed three weeks after a hydraulic line burst when departing for Everett from Chico, CA. Flew for many years in Florida. Preserved at MCAS Miramar, CA.

Delivered to the USAAF as 42-72209 in 1944. To American Airlines as NC90432 in 1946, N90432 after 1948, Eastern Air Lines in 1950 and Flying Tiger Line in 1955. To Pacific Western as CF-PWB in 1957. Reregistered as N74183 in 1972 and used by a number of operators. To the Marine Corps Museum, El Toro, CA in 1990 and marked as 90392. Moved to Miramar in 1999.

Was preserved in USMC markings at MCAS Mirarmar, CA, away from the main Flying Leathernecks Aviation Museum. In the most recent Google Earth image it has been removed. The C-117 and C-119 that were with it remain in place.
