D-CBVW came into the Volkswagen bizjet-fleet in June 1993 and stayed with the company for 3 years. Air Alsie operated the aircraft as OY-RAA until March 2019, when it was registered as N25JL and left Europe bound for Charlotte NC. The bizjet was withdrawn from use and cancelled again from the FAA register in May 2019.

Test reg N2521E then registered as D-CBVW in 1978. Reregistered as N4260K in 1981, N100TM in 1990, XB-RSG in 1991, XB-SHA in 1996, XA-RDY in 1998, N60SL in 2000 and XA-AOV in 2008.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Volkswagen received this HS 125 in July 1970 as a new aircraft and flew it until 1977. The bizjet was last seen active in 2007, when it was operated in Venezuela as YV113T.

Volkswagen was a customer of Hawker Siddeley business jets, but between 1976 and 1980 they briefly changed to Sabreliners. They operated three of the -75A version; only six of this rare type were ever on the German register, the other three flew for Holstenair. - The aircraft shown here was built in 1976 and was still flying in Mexico as XA-AOV 45 years later.
