The CF-101B was the two-seater all-weather interceptor version and this example is on display at CFB Borden.

Displayed at the Calgary Aerospace Museum wearing the markings of 416 (Lynx) Squadron.

Originally USAF 56-277 and taken on strength with the RCAF February 25, 1971. Photographed here taxiing out for a flight test after overhaul by Bristol Aerospace - it's very unusual to see the Voodoo without squadron markings or a navigator in the back seat. Was used as an instructional airframe serialed 835B from January 1985 until August 1990 and struck off strength October 18, 1990.

In 1984, when the CF-101B was retiring from the Canadian Air Force, each Voodoo squadron would have one aircraft painted in a special retirement/RCAF 60th Anniversary color scheme. 409 Squadron resurrected the very popular Hawk One colors for theirs. Originally USAF 57-429, 101057 was taken on strength in 1971 as Canada traded 56 older CF-101s for 66 new(er) ones. Retired July 12,1984, Hawk One became a gate guardian at CFB Comox.

Former USAF 57-286, this Voodoo was taken on strength July 2, 1970 to finally become Instructional Airframe 886B on 19 October 1987. On June 25, 1991 while being transported by helicopter from Mountain View to CFB Trenton for the RCAF Museum , it had to be jettisoned due to severe oscillations. Landing upside down in Bay of Quinte , it was badly damaged and had to be scrapped. The aircraft was replaced by Voodoo 101040 for display, which was moved by road December 1, 1993.

Formerly the USAF's 57-0268, this Voodoo was part of a batch upgraded with infrared sensors and improved fire control systems, moving north to Canada in 1970/71. Most CF-101s had finished flying by the time of this shot although two did carry on till a year later. Note markings of 416 "Lynx" Sqdn based at Chatham, NB. Now on display, plinth-mounted at Air Force Heritage Park, CFB Winnipeg

Black distemper added for Maple Flag excercises. Written off 4 months later after a wake encounter caused uncontrolled pitch up at low altitude; both crew ejected.

The Voodoo defended Canada's airspace when this was very serious business indeed.

416 Squadron's retirement special was flown to Halifax after Air Force service and donated to the Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum.
