Pictured assigned to VAQ-137 "Rooks", this Prowler would fly with VAQ-129 "Vikings" before retirement in 2014 and displayed at NAS Fallon in Nevada.

The end of an era in the PNW... "Giant (GTI) 747 Heavy" making a low pass over 34L this morning as the final 747 to be delivered.

What a bittersweet day! The last 747 left the Boeing factory today. Here she is rotating form Paine Field.

Scrapped in 2021

Delivered in April, 2021 and seen here on departure for Paris as "Delta (DAL) 80." Almost all of the international long haul flying is done by A330s out of Seattle now for Delta.

Arriving from Ketchikan as AS7005 is one of three -700 freighters that Alaska operates under the "Alaska Air Cargo" banner. This was the replacement for the -400 Combi aircraft that were retired years ago from the fleet.

Sitting at the gate after arriving from Tokyo Yokota Air Base on a charter for the US Military as "Giant (GTI) 8190." These flights are a regular shuttle for troops to travel back and forth. This particular aircraft was involved in a hard landing which caused major damage to the fuselage, but seemingly was repaired and put back into service.
