The end of an era in the PNW... "Giant (GTI) 747 Heavy" making a low pass over 34L this morning as the final 747 to be delivered.

What a bittersweet day! The last 747 left the Boeing factory today. Here she is rotating form Paine Field.

The other side of the very last Boeing 747. This side wears full Atlas Air titles while the other side wears "Apex Logistics" titles as part of the contract that Atlas Air has with logistics company, Kuehne + Nagel.

LN#1574, the final Boeing 747 to roll off the Everett production line. Arriving back at Paine Field as "Boeing (BOE) 704 Heavy" this afternoon after getting painted in Portland. Sad to see no special livery on this bird, but it does sound like there will be commemorative stickers applied before delivery at the end of the month. Another chapter in Boeing's story comes to an end with this aircraft. A sad day for aviation enthusiasts around the world.
