Built in 1959 as a genuine nosedragger Tri-Pacer, it was registered new in Australia as VH-PSW. Rebuilt as a taildragger and up-engined, it seems to have been re-registered in December 1985. Registration was subsequently changed to VH-PCR(2) to free the original rego for a new RV-7 being built.

Alliance put the big Fokker through its paces again with an impressive display as 'Unity 991' at the Wide Bay International Airshow. This aircraft has had a long history, initially as PH-EZF, then to USAir as N864US, then temporarily to PH-CXG, then to Germaina and Air Berlin as D-AGPG. Acquired by Alliance in 2010 and registered VH-XWR on 14 September that year.

Built to a 1951 order (in the days when the USAF ordered more than 17,000 aircraft a year) and delivered in 1952 as an L-19A-CE, serial 51-12001. I don't know the exact history of this aircraft, but it seems likely that it eventually went to the R Thai AF before being 'demobbed' and exported to Australia, becoming VH-LQX on 28 August 1991. It's currently based at Essendon and regularly flies IFR.

This 1959 short-wing Piper was built as a Caribbean but has obviously been converted at some stage to Pacer standard. It was originally registered as N9826D until, briefly, being exported to the UK. It was registered G-BUBZ on 10 April 1992 but a little over a year later exported to Australia and de-registered on 18 June 1993. It must have undergone a restoration as it was not registered in Australia as VH-BRG(3) until 20 June 2002.
