Built to a 1917 RFC order as C1916. Subsequent service not known but likely to have been stored. Delivered to Australia in 1920 as part of the 'Imperial Gift' and allocated RAAF serial A2-4: remained stored until 1926. Allocated to 1 FTS Point Cook until retired in 1929. Issued to the AWM and displayed initially in Melbourne, then Canberra until 1999. Repainted in 1970 as C9539, again in 2008 as D6950 (both of 2 Squadron AFC).

Yet another Aeronca to transfer to the RAAus Register! This 1946 Champion was originally registered NC1442E, later N1442E, before coming to Australia and being registered VH-EPZ on 22 December 1986. It was transferred to the RAAus Register on 1 January 2006, though it wasn't de-registered from the Australian Register until 2 May! Note that the aircraft still carries its US registration on the rudder.

This little ultralight was flown nearly 1,000 NM in one week by a Belgian couple on holiday in Australia. It's seen here attending the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally in Broken Hill. The Savage Cub was designed in Italy but is now manufactured in the Czech Republic by Zlin.

This aircraft was produced as a standard Airvan and was registered on 4 December 2002 (although it's got a 2003 cn!). It was later converted to become the prototype turbocharged Airvan, for which certification was achieved in February 2009. It previously appeared at the Australian International Airshow in 2007 in MAF colours - possibly for promotional purposes. It's seen here taxying for a handling demo in 2009 in the very capable hands of Gippy's test pilot, Dave Wheatland.
