With the replacement of the T-37 as the USAF primary jet trainer more and more examples are accumulating at AMARG. This particular aircraft arrived at AMARG during May 06 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AATE0314.

This T-37 was built at Wichita and delivered to the USAF during April 1956. It served at Bainbridge AFB, GA and Williams AFB, AZ before being SOC in April 1968. It was assigned to the NMUSAF Loan Program going at first to the Florida Military Aviation Museum and now at the super MAPS Air Museum.

After the T-34, students of the Ecole de Pilotage flew the T-37B, of which 14 were delivered in 1996 as replacements for the ageing CM.170s. The aircraft were around 50+ years old and retained the livery of their previous operator, the USAF's 64th FTW at Reese AFB, TX.
