It is a bit of a quandary giving this aircraft its correct designation. It seems to be a former Spanish Merlin-equipped Ha-1112, as apparently indicated by the C4K suffix to the Me109 in the fin. C4K used to be the Spanish air force designation of the 109. However, this 109 comes with a DB605 engine. So the airframe is Spanish, the engine is German. To me this was one of the top scorers of the 2022 EAA Week.

Veteran of 1969 film 'Battle of Britain', restored by Air Leasing Sywell, with first post restoration flight 2019. 'White 9' colour scheme UFFZ Edmund Roβmann, one of the most respected leaders in JG52. 'Paule' flew in the Battle of Britain before transferring to Russia. In July 1943 he landed behind enemy lines in an attempt to rescue a fellow pilot but was captured by the Russians. He had scored 93 victories, and had been awarded the Knight's Cross. This aircraft is currently up for sale by Air Leasing Sywell.
