Uncompleted sale to Honduran Air Force saw Corsair bu 97359 registered N5213V in 1959. Stored in Phoenix (1959) and Tucson AZ (1969), the aircraft was registered N97359 to fly in TV series "Ba Ba Black Sheep" 1976 - 78. Later it was based in Duxford, UK as N240CA during 1988 - 92 wearing New Zealand Navy markings. Pictured as bu 82050 which Lieutenant Thomas Hudner jr made a wheels-up landing behind enemy lines near Koto-Ri, North Korea in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue his wingman Ensign Jesse Brown on Dec 4, 1950. Lt. Hudner was rescued by helicopter and later awarded the Medal of Honor.

ex USN 97413, Honduras Air Force 613, N96042

Pictured parked out on the Hangar-7 apron at SZG. A few seconds later it was towed into the adjacent Red Bull hangar, presumably for some engine maintenance.

Built in 1952 and supplied to France by the USA. To the USA by ship in 1974 and registered as N1337A. Based in the UK from 1982 to 1993 when it was shipped back to the USA.

The aircraft operated out of the USS Boxer (CV-21) aircraft carrier. It got hit by ground and the aircraft caught fire. The pilot bailed out and landed safely, but SAR efforts were unsuccesful.
