Former Spanish Air Force C.4K-135. Sold in 1966 and used for parts for Buchons flown in the film The Battle of Britain. Shipped to Big Spring, TX in 1968 then shipped to Manching, West Germany in 1975 and rebuilt as a Bf109G-6. First flew after rebuild in 1982. Crashed on takeoff from Manching in 1983. Rebuilt using the fuselage of c/n 156 and flew again in 1986. Reregistered as D-FMBD in 2019.

This aircraft was delivered to the Luftwaffe on 28th November, 1939. It force landed on a frozen lake on the Kola Peninsular and sank when the ice thawed. It was recovered in 1993 and restored in Hungary before being transferred to the Technical Museum in Berlin.

Red 6 recovered in 2003 on display at Planes of Fame. Built in 1939 as an E-1, this combat veteran participated in the Battle of France and BoB. It was converted to an E-7, carrying a 300L drop tank or as a Jabo with an ETC 50 or ETC 500 bomb rack. The Emil went to newly formed II./JG 5 'Eismeer' on 22 Mar 1942 at Petsamo and was flown by Lt. Wulf-Dieter Widowitz. While on an escort mission, it was shot down on 4 Apr 1942 by a 2nd GIAP Hurricane Mk.IIb. Widowitz put the aircraft down on a frozen lake. The 36-victory ace was killed on 28 Jul 43 while piloting a Go-145A from Kirkenes to Petsamo.

Long term restoration project. In 2018 registration D-FMGV was assigned.

Unfortunately 'BB' did not take part in the flying display at the EADS family day.

These substantial remains were recovered during excavations for building work in Luqa in February 2023. According to the Malta Aviation Museum, Werk Nummer 8668, which is carried on the wing root, corresponds to a Bf 109F-4/Z of 5/JG3 which crashed during a raid over Malta on April 1st, 1942. Unteroffizier Hans Pilz was at the controls, pursuing an RAF fighter at low level when his Messerschmitt took hits, presumably from ground fire, and bellied in on a farm. Pilz survived the crash relatively unscathed, despite the aircraft flipping on its back; he spent the rest of the war in a POW camp.

The third Bf 109, first flown in June 1937. Jumo 210 engine, two 7.92-mm machine guns. Prototype for the Bf 109A batch which was tested in the Spanish Civil War. Black 2 under restoration inside the very interesting hangar at Planes of Fame Air Museum. This Buchon was built in Seville in March 1958. It was formerly flown by Ejercito del Aire as C.4K-77 till it was sold to Gp Capt T.G. "Hamish" Mahaddie of Pathfinder fame as part of 28 Buchons used for filming in the movie Battle of Britain. It was one of 21 given later to Wilson C. Edwards as payment for the flying. In 1981 it crashed at Reno during air races. It was restored to fly for the movie Pearl Harbor, suffering an undercarriage collapse in 2000 after filming.

Ex Spanish AF Hispano HA-1112M1L C.4K-135 c/n195 rebuilt by Messerschmitt AG and first flown in April 1982. Crashed on take off from Neuburg in June 1983 and restored again using fuselage of Buchon c/n156 ex C.4K-87. Mechanical damage sustained in 2002 led to further work and the aircraft was flown again shortly before this appearance at Hahnweide. Retired from flying in 2007, the aircraft was restored to fly again by Hangar 10 at Usedom in 2019/20 and now flies with the Messerschmitt Foundation as D-FMBD.
