This is the second pre-production aircraft. The aircraft was later modified with a General Electric J79-GE-119 engine for testing and was known as the F-16/79. This configuration was never taken in production. The aircraft was later restored to its original engine configuration and was used as a private-venture testbed for close air support and night/bad weather attack systems. Now on display at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.

The Fort Worth Aviation Museum's Vought F8U-1P - later redesignated a RF8-G — Crusader, Navy Bureau of Aeronautics No. 146898, was built in 1960 in Grand Prairie, Texas. The aircraft was both delivered to and accepted by the Navy on February 26, 1960. It was made part of the collection of aircraft at the USS Alabama Memorial in Mobile, Alabama. In 2005 it was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina and removed to National Naval Aviation Museum to be prepared for the bombing range at Eglin AFB. VMAP saved it from destruction, but the aircraft still needs restoration.

The first WC-135R Constant Phoenix on final approach for runway 17 at the Greenville Majors Airport, callsign "SAME40!" This is a former KC-135R and two more are to be converted to Constant Phoenix standard to replace the aging C-135 fleet. Glad to see new "Nuke Sniffers" come online!
