Compared to other Malaysia Airlines 747s, 9M-MHO was with the airline for a short time. Delivered June 10, 1991, the aircraft was sold to Qantas as VH-OED September 30, 1998. It was stored at Victorville, CA in September 2009 and parting out started in 2011. It was later scrapped.

Delivered new to Malaysia Airlines in March 1998. Left the fleet in February 2013. Ferried to Victorville (KVCV) on December 2, 2013. Broken up in December 2014.
