This Avro York C.1 wears Berlin Airlift fin code '2' as it taxies out for a test flight after having been serviced by Fairey Aviation. A major element was the removal of accumulated coal dust from the main cabin and control runs. It then returned to West Germany to carry out more sorties on 'Operation Plainfare'.
