Built by Lockheed as a P-3B, served VP-40 and Vp31 and was selected for modification to a RP-3D. It then served VXN-8. Was used in project Birdseye, served the Naval Research Laboratory from early 1994 as 'Arctic Fox' and assigned to VXS-1. Moved to AMARC on 29 January 2013. Was stored in the Arizona desert up to 20 August 2020 and was then sadly scrapped with HVF West, Tucson (AZ).

This U-2C carries USAF serial 56-6681, was former N801X with the CIA and was delivered to the NASA on 5 March 1966. It returned to the USAF but returned again to NASA on 3 June 1971. It was used in the 'Earth Servey 4' program, redesignated to WU-2C and operted from Ames up to June 1987. It was preserved at Ames Moffet Field from mid 1989.

Ex USAF serial 82-0064. The 3rd of 3 built Tigersharks and the only survivor of the type. The project was cancelled in 1986 as no orders were placed. It is preserved at the California Science Center, Los Angeles (CA) since 1991.

The 1st YF-17A Cobra prototype at its birthing grounds Hawthorne (CA). It was rolled out at Hawthorne on 4 Apr'74, and was trucked to Edwards AFB (CA). The Cobra made its first flight on 9 Jun'74 and became on 11 Jun'74 the first US fighter to exceed the speed of sound in level flight without the use of an afterburner. The 2nd YF-17A (72-1570) flew for the first time on 21 Aug'74. The 2 prototypes carried out a series of 288 testflights totalling 345 hrs and participated in the Lightweight Fighter (LWF) program that the F-16 won. In 1976, this 1569 was sent to NASA Dryden for base drag studies

J-250 and J-259 as a whole were difficult the photograph this day, so only a detail shot of both tails at the Leerdock (education school) of the Koninklijke Militaire School Luchtmacht Royal Military Air Force School (KMSL) at Woensdrecht. J-250 is Fokker built (line number L-076) and was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 9 Oct'81. J-250 was already withdrawn from service in mid-2000 and was transferred as an instructional airframe to the KMSL. In Sep'24 the cockpit was removed from the hull and preserved at Volkel, the hull was scrapped.

The 133 Squadron is the Leerdock (education school) of the Koninklijke Militaire School Luchtmacht Royal Military Air Force School (KMSL) at Woensdrecht. B-67 was manufactured in 1976 and test flown as D-HDIA. It was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) in August 1976 and served through the years 298 squadron at Gilze Rijen. The Bolkow was withdrawn from use in April 2000 and transferred as an instructional airframe to 133 squadron in March 2002.

The 133 Squadron is the Leerdock (education school) of the Koninklijke Militaire School Luchtmacht Royal Military Air Force School (KMSL) at Woensdrecht. The Lynx is former SH-14B Mk27 WG13-01D, and G-17-20, before it was delivered by Westland to the Marine Luchtvaartdienst (MLD< Netherlands Naval Aviation) on 31 August 1979. It was assigned to 860 squadron. Converted to SH-14D ands eventually withdrawn from use in June 2004. It was transferred as an instructional airframe to 133 squadron in early 2012.

With it's unit badge erased, J-643 is seen at the maintenance dock EIGHT at Logistiek Centrum Woensdrecht (LWC, Logistical Center Woensdrecht) of the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force). The F-16 is a Fokker built (line number L-163) Block 15K and was delivered to the KLu on 16 Mar'84. Inititially served 306sq, equipped with the Orpheus reconnaisance pod. Modified to F-16AM in the late nineties. After serving most Dutch F-16s squadrons, the aircraft was scrapped on 25 May 2019.

This C-9B was known as RY-529 with VR-59 and the name City of Fort Worth from March 1987 up to March 2000. It was moved to VR-46 in April 2000, then to VR-61 in February 2013 and eventually transferred to the US Marine Corps in February 2014. In April 2017, the Nightingale was transferred to the USAF as a testbed, still as 161529. It was last reported in mid-2021. Status since unknown. Together with sistership 161530, 529 brought a visit to the Netherlands in support of the US Marine Corps music band.

This C-9B was delivered to the US Navy on 28 October 1982 and assigned to VR-59 as RY-530 VR-59. It flew around with the name 'City of Grand Prairie' up to October 2000. Was then transferred to VR-46 as JS-530 with the name 'City of Rosewell'. In September 2012, the Nightingale was moved to VR-61 and in February 2014 the aircraft was transfered to the US Marine Corps where it served VMR-1 up to April 2017. It was withdrawn from use at Mojave (CA) in June 2017. Together with sistership 161529, 530 brought a visit to the Netherlands in support of the US Marine Corps music band.

Started to fly as N945F from 4 Feb'89 with Evergreen International Airlines. It was then assigned Unifly Express from 18 Ap'89, but never delivered. The nine soldiered on with Evergreen up to Sep'89. It registration was cancelled by 4 May'15, but looking at this picture, it was already withdrawn from use years earlier. The Northwest DC-9-32 (c/n 47175/298) in the right below corner was delivered to American International Airways on 3 Jun'83. It also flew for Marfreless Inc. from Nov'84, then to Republic Airlines on 16 Jul'85 and eventually Northwest Airlines from 1 Oct'86. Canx 4 Aug'08.

This oldy was always TF-ARO, first with Saudia - Saudi Arabian Airlines from January 2004, then Air Atlanta Icelandic from 11 March 2004, the Garuda Indonesian Airways from 19 December 2004, again Air Atlanta Icelandic from 25 February 2005, then Air Algérie from July 2005 and in the same month again Air Atlanta Icelandic, the again Garuda Indonesian Airways from December 2005. Last owner again Air Atlanta Icelandic from February 2006. In October 2007 it had the best time, looking at this picture.
