It was powered by a pair of 380hp Lycoming TIO-541 six cylinder turbocharged engines driving Hartzell three-blade propellers. This Duke Model 60 was built in 1969 and is one of about 125 built. Owners found the engines expensive to overhaul and the aircraft was likened to a high-end sports car. Later models included the A60 and B60 with modified turbochargers and cabin pressurization.

On display in the Korean War Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This MiG-15bis was delivered to the Korean People's Air Force. On 21 Sep 1953, Lt No Kum-Sok flying an armed patrol defected by crossing the DMZ and landed his MiG-15bis at Kimpo Air Base. The U.S. was keen to acquire a MiG-15 and offered a $100,000 reward for the first one delivered intact. The aircraft was extensively tested and then offered back to its "rightful owners", but there was no response to the offer by N. Korea, China or the Soviet Union. It went to the museum in 1957.

The original B-25B was flown by Lt TW Lawson, D Davenport, CL McClure, RS Clever and Sgt DJ Thatcher under Bay Bridge on their arrival at San Francisco. Launching as Plane 7 from CV-8 USS Hornet on 18 Apr 42 on the daring Doolitle Raid, they mistakenly flew off the carrier without using flaps. After successfully bombing Tokyo, the crew were badly injured when the bomber flipped over on a wave when attempting to land on a Chinese island.

The translucence of this suspended B.E.2c shows its fragility and strength as the spars and ribs contrast with the truss of Imperial War Museum London. It was probably built around 1916. By Feb. 1917 it was on the strength of No. 50 Home Defence Sqn., Royal Flying Corps at Dover to intercept Zeppelins. It went on to two Night Training Squadrons and to No. 51 Sqn. RAF in Norfolk. After a forced landing, the B.E.2c was withdrawn from use and transferred to the museum in Sept. 1919.
