Delivered to Okanagan Helicopters circa 1980, this S-76 was initally operated in Australia by the company registered VH-WXF. Returned to Canada in 1986, it was registered to forestry company Macmillan Bloedel Ltd. Sold when MacBlo was acquired by Weyerhaeuser in the USA in 1999, it was registered N347AA, This was the first S-76 registered C-GIMY. The second (cn 760055) was a former Canadian Helicopters' S-76 that crashed May 31, 2013 with Ornge, the Province of Ontario's ambulance service.

During the HAI Heli-Expo 1985 Convention in New Orleans, Air Logistics organized a media tour of some of its helicopter bases supporting offshore oil and gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico using three S-76As and an AS355F. Passengers were picked up at the Downtown heliport next to the Superdome, visited helicopter bases in Patterson and New Iberia and flew over some offshore drilling rigs. S-76A N702AL was photographed from another S-76 over downtown New Orleans. Today, this S-76A flies for Island Express in Long Beach, CA as N71EX.

This 1979 Sikorsky S-76A joined HeliJet's fleet in 2013. Pictured recently receiving "Helicopters Without Borders" titles, that non-profit organization transports healthcare professionals providing primary care for remote and rural communities.

Sikorsky S-76A, msn 760018, was delivered new to British Airways Helicopters in the UK for use on offshore oil rig support in the North Sea as G-BZAC. Following CHC's acquisition of the renamed British International Helicopters shares in 1993, G-BZAC was transferred to Canada and became C-GIMA when it joined Canadian Helicopter's fleet of S-76A's flying air ambulance services on contract to the Ontario Ministry of Health. This aircraft was transferred to Ornge in July 2012 and cancelled in October 2015. Most Ornge S-76As were donated to aviation maintenance schools when retired.

HeliJet provide frequent services to Victoria from the Vancouver Harbour Heliport, which is on the opposite side of the cruise terminal to the seaplane base.

This Sikorsky S-76A, C-GIMZ owned by Canadian Helicopters (CHL) was an air ambulance in Ontario for many years and is seen at the old heliport at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, which now has a rooftop pad. Ontario launched a helicopter EMS program in the late 1970s using contract helicopters, with the first "Bandage 1" in Toronto, a Bell 212. Ornge was formed in 2007 to take over management of the EMS program and later paid $28 million for 11 used CHL S-76As, including C-GIMZ. These were replaced by a fleet of AW139s starting in 2010. Some of S-76s were donated to tech schools.

This 1980 built S-76A was first registered in the US as N104BH, then G-BJVW, then as 9M-AYD with Malaysian Helicopter Service, then as PT-YDM in Brazil before going back to Malaysia as 9M-BDG. Finally, it was registered in Australia as VH-XHZ before joining the HeliJet fleet in January of 2003. The aircraft was lost after a landing accident on Langara Island (BC) on August 13, 2012, when it submerged into salt water, consequently being written off. Registration C-GHJT has previously already been assigned to a few S-76A's, including S/N 760096, 760160 and 760288.
