The private aircraft of the Green family, surging forward from the dock at Green Airways' base on Howey Bay, Red Lake. Registered to Jack Green's Trout Lake Lodge Limited.

Rebuilt in 2004, and converted from float configuration to a wheeled, land-based version. The owner was attempting a flight across the country from his base at Strathmore, Alberta, taking in a fly-by appearance at the annual Red Lake Norseman Festival en route. Unfortunately, this effort had to be terminated at Red Lake Airport after the fly-by, where the aircraft parked. Effectively entered open storage there, where it still sits, now for sale, as recently as late 2021.

A batch of 15 US Army Norsemans in storage at Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany were sold to Israel through an American broker in 1948. Ferry tanks were installed by KLM in Amsterdam. The two aircraft identifiable here, NC79823 (ex 44-70506) and NC79821 (c/n 521, 44-70256) landed in Gaza, rather than Tel Aviv in darkness on 25 May 1948 and were captured by Egyptian forces. Moored at its Red Lake base while operating for its owner Viking Outpost Cabins Ltd, with whom it served from 1993 until 2010.

Built for the USAF as 44-70273 then civilianized as NC59786 post-1945. Imported for a G.H.Green as CF-JDG in 1956 (was it the first in the fleet?). Cancelled in August 1986 on export as N538DW and wrecked at Bronson Creek/BC on 4 June 1987 when a wheel came off on landing. A subsequent attack from a grizzly bear finished it off. The remains were donated to the B.C. Aviation Museum for use in the rebuild of CF-DRE. (Photo taken while standing on the Chimo Air dock.)

Sea-Air-Pac Ltd. (logo and titles on rear fuselage) was founded in the early 1970s to transport fresh seafood (e.g. herring roe) from fishing boats on the BC coast to Tofino and on to customers in Japan. Norseman IV CF-PAA was joined by Norseman VI, CF-SAP, from Washington State but the business soon failed. CF-SAP was flown to Fort Langley Airport where it sat derelict for many years in the 1970s & 1980s. Later to Nunasi-Central Airlines, Nueltin Lake Air Service, Lynn Lake Lodge & Kississing Lake Lodge. Cancelled in May 2014. Built in 1943 for USAAF as 43-5240 then to N74681. Had four US owners before return to Canada.
