Another photo of this oddball transport He 111 with radial engines. It seems to have served with Lufthansa earlier as D-ACBS Augsburg. Flugzeugführerschule B 34 used CE-NX as a blind flying trainer. The school flew a variety of aircraft, including, presumably, the Ju 86 seen on the right. B.2I-103 fitted with the tail of B.2I-27. Seen in the restoration hangar at the Imperial War Museum, the CASA 2-111 was essentially a licence built Heinkel He 111, powered by Rolls Royce Merlin engines. This aircraft will be moved to the Kent Battle of Britain Museum at Hawkinge in early 2020 - and where photography is not permitted. It is staggering that a museum open to the public prohibits photography!
