Unit is Escadron de Chasse (EC) 2/5 "Ile de France" This Mirage 2000C, later modified to 2000-5F, was transferred to Ukraine in early 2025. The aircraft crashed in Ukrainian service on 22 July 2025 during a combat flight mission. The pilot reported to the flight controller about a critical electronics malfunction. The plane fell into a deserted area and sank in a flooded crater in a swampy area. Pilot ejected to safety in time.

Escadron de Chasse (EC) 3/13 "Auvergne"

Seen during an overshoot at Gilze Rijen, a nice 5F of Base Aérienne 102 Dijon-Longvic. The SPA97 squadron moved to BA113 and now operates Rafale Bs under command of EC01.004 "Gascogne". The AdlA still operates some thirty 5Fs in the early 2020s. The 5F was the first major upgrade over the standard 2000C: a cockpit with large multi-function displays, upgrades to the armament for the use of a targeting pod and modern guided air to ground and air to air weapons. The latter goes in combination with a radar upgrade that provides guidance for MICA missiles. Transferred to Ukraine in early 2025. Crashed on 22 Jul'25 during a combat flight mission after a failure of critical electronics. Pilot ejected

Preserved with Ailes-Anciennes-Strasbourg. The serial of 57 painted on the aircraft is fake. Its true identity is no.33. The real 57 was in the UK at Duxford before moving to Pima Air & Space Museum, Tucson, AZ, USA

Magister No 57 ended its career as a base hack aircraft with EC 13 at Colmar. It was also used by the French air attaché in Rome for some time.
