Built for Airlift International as DC-8-63CF N6167A in 1970. Delivered to World Airways as N803WA in 1971. To the Oman Royal Flight as A4O-HM then reregistered as A4O-HMQ in 1981. Converted to a DC-8-73CF in 1982. Sold as N785AL then to Southern Air Transport as N874SJ in 1993 and Emery Worldwide as N831AL in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2001 and scrapped in 2007.

This DC-8 (Emery Worldwide flight 17 ) was written-off in a take-off crash at Mather, Sacramento on 16th February 2000.

Delivered to Japan Air Lines as DC-8-61 JA8041 in 1970. To Overseas National Airways as N917R in 1981. Had recently been converted to a DC-8-71 when this photo was taken. To Pointair as F-GMFM in 1985, Kenya Airways as EI-BWG in 1988 and Zambia Airways as 9J-AFL in 1989. Sold as N811AL and converted to a DC-8-71(F) freighter for Emery Worldwide in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2001. Still there in 2004. Scrapped.

Leased from SAS from Feb82 to Feb84. Delivered to SAS as SE-DBI in 1970. To Thai Airways International as HS-TGZ in 1984 then to the Royal Thai Air Force as L.10-2/28 in 1985. To Arrow Air as N798AL in 1989 then to International Cargo Express as N41CX who merged into Air Transport International in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Wilmington, OH in 2013. Still there in 2023.

An all-white freighter, unmarked except for name "The Bullet" and small "Operated by Arrow Air Inc." below cockpit.

This airframe was one of the last flying DC-8s, still active in 2023 as OB-2158-P with Skybus. It was re-registered again as N873SJ in November 2023, future use uncertain.

Leased from World Airways. Delivered to Atlantis as D-ADIZ in 1971. Returned to the lessor as N65517 then to World Airways as N806WA in 1972. To Overseas National Airways as N921R who were renamed to National Airlines in 1983 then to Emery Worldwide Airlines in 1999, Murray Air in 2000 and National Airlines in 2008. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2009. Still there in 2011. Scrapped.

Built 1968 and to Eastern Air Lines December 19th 1968 as N8763 and ship 763. September 25th 1972 leased to Japan Air Lines until April 6th 1976. May 2nd 1976 leased to Capitol International Airways, renamed Captiol Air in Dec. 1981. December 25th 1982 N8763 returned to Lessor and stored at Marana in full Capitol cs. May 1st 1983 N8763 ONA-Overerseas National Airways, Dec 1983 National Airlines, and Oct 1983 Airlinft International, still N8763. Oct27th 1984 EC-DVB Spantax.. January 18th 1988 ZP-CCR LAPSA, January 2nd 1995 N853AX Airborne Express, converrted to Freighter opf ABX AIr. 2006 scrap

Delivered to Air Canada as CF-TIM in 1969. Reregistered as C-FTIM after 1973. Converted to a DC-8-63(AF) freighter for Burlington Air Express as N869BX in 1985 who were renamed to BAX Global in 1997. To Air Transport International in 2000, Heavylift Cargo Airlines as A6-HLB in 2006 then to Kam Air Cargo as YA-VIB in 2010 and stored at Ras Al Khaimah. Still there in 2023.
