Delivered to Western Air Lines as DC-6B N93125 in 1958. To Iran Air as EP-AEW in 1965 then to Conner Airlines as N28CA and converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter in 1973. To Woods Air Fuel in 1994 then to Air Cargo Express in 2001. Scrapped at Fairbanks, AK around 2003.

Delivered to United Airlines as DC-6B N37570 in 1956. To other operators from 1968. Converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter in 1974. Leased to St. Lucia Airways as VQ-TAW and returned as N37570 in 1975. To Servicios Aereos Generales as HR-AKW in 1986 then back to N37570 in 1988 then to ILPO Cargo Airlines as XA-RMM and returned as N37570 in 1990. To Legion Express as 5Y-BMM in 1996 then to Universal Airlines as N37570 then N600UA in 1998. Damaged beyond repair in a gear up landing at Cold Bay, AK in 2011.

The final arrival at Sola for the Musum. 01-06-2020 N151 took off from Faribanks, and after ca 30 minutes had to return and go back due to a problem with engine no 3. After approx two hours it took off again and flew to Yellowknife in Canada, which was the final stop before an alomst 15 hours flight across the Atlantic and after a lowpass at Bergen, it came for a lowpass along rwy 18 at Sola, before tunring and arriving rwy 36, shown by these photos. The "QRILL PET ARCTIC WORLD SERIES" is an important sign of how this ferry flight was made possible.

N151 seen at the lowpass it made along rwy 18 before its final lading at rwy 36.. To me personally, it was a tremendous joy to be there and watch it come and arrive after its final flight, led by Robert Everts, the chief of Everts Air Cargo who said "I could gladly have flown this aircaft to Las Palmas" after he had arrived with this beautufil DC-6B repanited as it was when it left BU in 1971 as LN-SUB. Now it has been beautiful restored even inside and will soon be under roof at Sola Air Museum, led by real Aviation enthusiasts. In the pandemic: "The Old one flies, while new ones are grounded

DC-6 HH-SCA was formerly operated by Haiti Air Freight. When this picture was taken it was located inside the Chilean UN-Aviation compound at Port-au-Prince (Haiti) where it served as a club house for Chilean military personnel deployed to Haiti with the UN (MINUSTAH) called the MINUS-pub.

One of the star exhibits of the Museo Nacional de Aviacion in Ilopango, San Salvador, El Salvador is this DC-6B, painted as 302.

Delivered to Pacific Western Airlines as CF-CZQ in October 1956, leased to Air Liban as OD-ADP in June 1960 and Cunard Eagle as G-ARZO in June 1962 before returning to CF-CZQ at the end of 1962. Registered to Concare Leasing as N122M in August 1969 and sold to Aeolineas El Salvador as YS-32C in October 1969. Joined the Fuerza Aerea Salvadorena in 1976. Withdrawn and stored at Ilopango by 1998 and displayed as part of the Air Force Museum collection by 2013.

Surrounded by debris shortly after being registered to Service Air of Zaire as 9Q-CYO in December 1996. The aircraft was impounded c2005 and became a familiar sight at Rand although it carried no registration for many years. Later used as an educational attraction, it was eventually scrapped in October 2021.

To Sterling Airways as OY-STY in 1969, Bellomy-Lawson Aviation as N515TY in 1973 and Trans Continental Airlines in 1978. To Air Transport Office as 9Q-CRH in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Kinshasa in 1997 and scrapped.
