Former Transavia aircraft awaiting a buyer probably early 1975

Air France donated this Caravelle to the Lyon-Satolas airport authorities on 19 June 1979, and for many years the aircraft was on display here with "Aéroport International de Satolas" titles on an all-white fuselage, and with the airport's logo on the fin. By 2005 it had been transferred to the airport fire services, and it became the training object seen here. The Caravelle was eventually broken up on 12 August 2010, after having spent more than 30 years at this airport.

Note the both titles: Air France and Air Charter.

First production Caravelle, with c/n 1. Now preserved and for sale at PS Aero compound in Baarlo, the Netherlands.

This is the original SE-DAF, which was delivered to SAS in February 1962.

This aircraft was originally delivered to SAS as SE-DAI in February 1966. It went to the Swedish Air Force in September 1971. Withdrawn from use and transferred to the Flygvapenmuseum in Nov 1998. Delivered (initially on loan) to Le Caravelle Club and flown from Malmen to Stockholm on 28 Jan 1999. Painted as SE-DAI on 17 Jul 1999, and ownership officially transferred to Le Caravelle Club on 13 Dec 2001. It was temporarily painted as OH-LSB in Finnair colours in March 2012, for use in the Finnish movie "Kaappari" / "The Hijack That Went South". By the time this photo was taken it had reverted to SE-DAI with titles removed but the Finnair logo still on the tail.
