This aircraft was delivered AB Nyge-Aero in Nyköping in April 1974 as SE-GBK. Soon after that, in August 1976, it became part of the fleet of the Halmstad Flygklubb. They operated it for 26 years, until sold to Air-Unlimited Sweden AB, Varberg, in May 2002. It was acquired by Elder Aviation in the UK in January 2003, and became G-ELDR.

The aircraft crashed and was destroyed in a fatal crash near Heathfield, East Sussex on 4 August 2020.

ZJ242 of the Defence Helicopter Flying School was delivered in July 2011 and initially based at RNAS Culdrose. It was transferred to RAF Shawbury in early 2013, and is seen here during exercises at Caernarfon.

Striking wing design on this rare glider survivor, almost like a real bird. This aircraft was built circa 1936 by Sportflugzeugbau Göppingen, formed in 1935 by Wolf Hirth and Martin Schempp. After the war it was used by the Royal Air Force at Geilenkirchen in then West Germany, until sold and brought to the UK in the late 1960s, where it was restored and flew again in 1972 as BGA 1738. It went to the USA as N37JK in 1984, then moved to the Netherlands in 1989 as PH-848. In 2005 it was sold to Tilo Holighaus and Sieger Maier and became one of the historic gliders of the Fliegenden Museums Hahnweide.

Seen here on short final for runway 01R, lacks the usual large Aeroflot titles, and only displays very small ones on the forward fuselage. It was built in 1979 and was among the first of the type to be delivered to Aeroflot. This wide-body aircraft was a noisy one, and was banned from most European airports in the late 1990s. RA-86007 was withdrawn from use at Moscow - Vnukovo airport in 2000, and broken up there five years later.

Originally a Canadian Air Force Canso (ex 11005), delivered in October 1943. It later flew in Canada as CF-NJF / C-FNJF, and in the summers of 1966 and 1968 it was leased to the French Sécurité Civile as F-ZBAY and F-ZBBD respectively. It was acquired by Plane Sailing Catalina Operations in late 2004 and based at Duxford. Seen here still being flown by them 13 years later, in the markings of USAAF OA-10A Catalina 44-33915.

Owned by the Kennemer Zweefvliegclub (Kennemer Gliding Club), acquired in 2016.

Delivered to the RAF on 19 August 1954 as a Whirlwind HAR.4, and later converted to Whirlwind HAR.10. By 1984 it had become an instructional airframe at Halton with maintenance serial 8673M, ending up at the Caenarfon fire dump in the late 2000s. It recently lost its tail boom, less than a year before this photo was taken.
