slide scan from the NK collection. - D-ABWI, seen here with old-style Condor titles, served for the airline from 1974 until 1989. The aircraft was finally registered as ZS-NZV; it was operated by Safair for United Nations before being withdrawn and scrapped at Johannesburg in 2009.

Northwest used this transitional livery to the ex-Republic Airlines fleet following their 1986 takeover, prior to a full repaint.

Built for United Airlines in 1967, later flying with American Trans Air as N283AT before export to Peru in 1993 as OB-1546 with Aero Peru. To Aero Continente in 1999 and re-registered OB-1546-P in 2003. Withdrawn from use when the airline ceased operations in 2004.

Next spring Lufthansa will take delivery of the first 6 out of a total of 12 aircraft". Delivered 22 February 1964. Sold 1974 as N68649, FAA N77 1975, reregistered N97 1987 and N46 1991. Withdrawn Atlantic City, NJ and cancelled 1994, still present 2020 used for training by Federal Air Marshalls. The two KC-135A's in the background are 63-8005 and 63-8007, the latter one still being active as KC-135R in 2022.
