Incorporated into Squadron 1 of the Argentine Air Force on 12/23/1968, on 04/11/1970 it became the first Hercules to land on the runway of the Antarctic base Vice Comodoro Marambio, transformed in 1977 into a C-130H. Modernized at the FAdeA facilities in 2016, it returned to service in March 2017 after undergoing a complete PDM, including the digitalization of the cockpit.

This Herc was test flown from the manufacturers plant at Marietta (GA) on 5 March 2012. It was delivered to the USAF on 4 April 2012. First assigned to the 39th AS of the 317th AW at Dyess AFB (TX) but transferred to the 37th AS at Ramstein from mid-2021. It was present at Eindhoven air base for the next week's Falcon Leap exercise and the Market Garden commemorative flight. The USA flag on its tail was rubbed out.

Only recently, this Ramstein Herc received the invasion stripes. The aircraft was delivered to the USAF on 17 August 2017 and never changed squadron so far. It was present at Eindhoven air base for the next week's Falcon Leap exercise and the Market Garden commemorative flight.

Turkey became a Hercules operator in 1964, receiving five new C-130E's which were later supplemented by three more of the same version. Then in 1991/92, Turkey received six 2nd hand surplus C-130B from the USAF, among them 57-0527 pictured here during exercise Anatolian Eagle 2016. Having been manufactured in 1958, 57-0527 is the oldest C-130 the TuAF ever operated. As from 2010, the TuAF also received six C-130E's from the Royal Saudi AF, bringing the total number of C-130 operated by Turkey to 20. The 19 remaining airframes have recently undergone a life extension program known as ERCIYES.
