SAS third 767 first flew 26 April, 1989 at Everett, and was delivered to SAS 4 May. Leased to Air Europe in July 1991 as I-AEJB. Returned to SAS 23 December 1993. Repainted in Star Alliance colours at Shannon in December 1997. Withdrawn from use 3 April 2002 and sold to Air Atlanta Iceland as TF-ATT 20 June 2002 which wetleased it to several carriers. 25 June 2005 Excel Airways, 1 July 2006 G-VKNI Excel. 23 November 2006 G-VKNI XL Airways. September 2008 stored. February 2009 converted to freighter N219CY. 27 October 2010 N519CY ABX Air.

October 4th 1990 OY-KIB rr as sold and leased back due to financing new MD-80s, still opf SAS as "Gundzser Viking". January 19h 1996 N128NK ValuJet Airlines.. 1997 Wfu and broken up... after flying pax at least 28 years. seen taxing for a rwy 24 departre, as LH Cargo D-ABGE is seen taxing behind for a rwy 06 departure.

First flight december 20th 1976 as N8707Q at Long Beach. Deliverd March 3rd 1977 to Thjai as HS-TGD "Phimara" January 1st 1987 HS-TMC rr and renamed "CHaiprkarn". December 6th 1987 OY-KDC SAS "Godfred Viking" as thy replaec 747s with DC-10s. October 5th 1990 9M-MAW Malaysia Airlines. October 2nd 1999 9G-ANB Ghana Airways. 2012 it was preserved at Accra, Ghana, as a restaurant. This sunday this DC-10 replaed the new 767s for the SK907 to Newark, as it is seen taxing for a rwy 24 departure.

LN-RCB was the 2nd B767 delivered to SAS April 22nd 1989. On May the 1st LN-RCB was baptized "Astrid Viking" by Norwegian Princess Astrid, prior to the opening of the daily scheduled SK907/908 FBU-EWR-FBU. LN-RCB did not last long with SAS, wfu November 1991 and leased to Air Europe as I-AEJC. LN-RCB for SAS again end of october 1993, but wfu June 1994. August 10th 1994 N984AN Avianca. Delivered as the 1st B767 to SAS March 29th 1989 as SE-DKO "Ingegerd Viking". January 21st 1994 LN-RCH rr. February 2004 wfu after 15 years for SAS. March 11th 2004 N318SR. August 2004 CS-TLO EuroAtlantic Airways. November 2017 N1511A Atlas Air, converted to freighter in March 2018. April 2018 opb Atlas Air for Amazon Prime Air. May 1st 1989 was the opening day for the NEW SK907/908 scheduled flight from FBU to Newark (KEWR/EWR) with brand new B767-300s. So SAS sent SE-DKO to ensure a back-up aircraft, and it was towed to a remote parking until SK 907 had left with LN-RCB

SE-DAS was one of 17 DC-0-41s delivered to SAS in 1974 with Y122 seating for domestic services, replacing DC-9-21s which were to be used for thin international services, and also replacing the last Caravelles in the SAS fleet. SE-DAS had the name "Gardar Viking". 1984 SE-DAS was repainted to the colours on this photo, and reconfig CY105. April 1988 SE-DAS was named "The Viking King" for the Swedish King's official visit to the USA. It was not renamed to "Gardar Viking" again until 1990. Official Sud Aviation photo, no date or caption. First flown as F-WJAK 25 March 1959, delivered to SAS as LN-KLH 13 April 1959, entered service 15 May 1960. Cooperating closely with De Havilland the complete forward fuselage and cockpit section was identical to the Comet 1. Very early aircraft did not have weather radar but a landing light in the nose.

Repainted to the new SAS colours in 1983/84, and OY-KGR became the only DC-9 to be repainted again in April 1999.
