Delivered new to BEA as a passenger Vanguard 16th Aug 1961 and converted to freighter (Merchantman) March 1973. Merged into British Airways Apr 1974 ,transferred to Air Bridge Carriers Dec 1979 and withdrawn from use EGNX (East Midlands) 24th Dec 1992, scrapped

G-ASZF rolls to a stop on runway 16. It was sold in Nigeria as 5N-ARO in 1983.

This 707F joined BOAC's freighter fleet new from the Seattle line in 12.65 and was sold by BA in late 1983, next year becoming XT-ABX with the gloriously-named Naganagani of Upper Volta, which became Burkina Faso that same year. Omega Air bought her in 8.94 and soon after she joined Brasair, being registered PP-BRB in 1995. Brasair changed their name to Beta Cargo in 1996, the aircraft finally being parted out by the Brazilian AF as a source of KC-137 spares at Rio de Janeiro-Galeão

First flight was on 16th Aug. 1961. delivered to BEA on 18th Aug. 1961 as G-APEJ was then employed by British Airways 1st. Apr. 1974 left the fleet to join Air Bridge Carriers on 13th Dec. 1979 Once again left their fleet and went to Hunting Cargo Airlines on 15th. Aug. 1992 later to be scrapped.

BEA converted G-APEK from Vanguard to Merchantman freight specification at LHR between 5.69 & 2.70. Sold 10 years later (10.79) to ABC with 33,857 hrs recorded, so this shot was during her last few days with BA. Wfu at EMA 11.89 and flown to Perpignan for reduction to spares by EAS
