Starting out as NW's N373US in 3.67 and becoming Transair's C-CTAI in 1974, this 707 was bought by Bangladesh in 1977 and is seen here in the old colours. She was acquired by Aeronaves del Peru as OB-1400 in 1990 and went into store with the Fuerza del Peru at Lima from 1995. Remained in derelict and very dirty condition till 2012 when presumed b/u

Seen after roll-out at the factory and being readied for delivery along with S2-ACX. The pair returned from Bangladesh in 1.04, arriving at Blackpool for Emerald. This one took up G-JEME and was ferried to Bucharest for LFD freighter conversion 8.04 but didn't return till 10.07 by which time Emerald had gone into liquidation. Stored at BLK along with the rest of the fleet; repositioned to Kemble 9.08 and to Coventry in 4.09; delivered to Deraya Air Taxi as PK-DGI in 8.09 but badly damaged on 31.5.13 at Wamena when the aircraft ran off side of the runway on landing and nose-wheel collapsed

The former N703PA, bought by Air Manila as PI-C7073 in12.72. Leased to Biman for the latter half of 1973. Broken up at Manila in 1984

This Friendship 600 served Biman from September 1972 until crashing near Dhaka airport on 5 August 1984.

First registered N367US to Northwest Orient in 7.66, this 707 was acquired by Bangladesh in 12.73 and sold to GAS Air as 5N-AYJ in 6.88. During a cargo flight from Dar es Salaam to Brussels on 13.12.88, made two attempted approaches at Cairo where a stop was scheduled; due to bad weather, diverted to Luxor but apparently ran out of fuel 45 kms short and crashed into a residential area

Northwest were the first operator of this 707 (N385US) from 1968. She was donated to Bangladesh by Japan on 29.9.78 and is seen here in the new colours midway through her career with BG. Ultimately to Brasair/BETA Cargo as PP-BRI in May 94 and stored 1996

Bangladesh's national carrier normally used B707s on their flights into Amsterdam, but after a 707 belly-landed at Singapore in April 1980, they were one aircraft short. An Aer Lingus 707 was leased for 6 months, followed by this very nice DC-8, leased from Cargolux in November 1980. It flew into AMS regularly until the summer of 1981.
