A 1976 built Bolkow at the cross servicing platform of Gilze Rijen. The pilot clearly shows the Grasshoppers (299sq) helmet, the squadron that owned the Dutch fleet of Bo105s. From mid-2000, this Bo105 was modified to CB-4 standard. 299sq was disbanded as a Bo105 squadron on 13 January 2003 and became 931sq. B-76 went into storage from that date and was eventually sold to Star Air Service at the Dutch teuge airport. The helicopter became D-HLAD at the German base Neuhausen ob Eck on 29 August 2007.

Ex. 78/14. It landed near Vlodrop in August 1916 after being shot at. Bought in February 1917. On March 14, 1917 the aircraft tipped over on its nose on the beach at Noordwijk. On September 1, 1917, the aircraft was again involved in an accident, when an emergency landing was conducted near Putten (aftermath seen in this photo). The aircraft again crashed on December 4, 1917 and was written off. A photo shows the aircraft straight up on its nose, with relatively little damage to it except for the nose/engine. For telegraph operator and reconnaissance training, the Netherlands Air Force acquired 10 Proctors from British surplus in 1947. On the underside of the wing you can just make out the Netherlands Air Force roundel. This Proctor served with the Air Force between June 25, 1947 until October 1953 and was then scrapped. The back of the photo says "Lustrijka '47", which was an exhibition held in 1947. 'Lustrijka' is very likely the abbreviation for 'Luchtstrijdkrachten', which means Air Force. The aircraft still has the serial NP360 here which was later in 1947 replaced by W-11 after the new serial system became operational. Photo from W. Muntinga
