Exactly on the day we visited São Pedro de Aldeila air base, two AS355F2s returned from an Arctic deployment on board the Ary Angel (H-44). Both helicopters were furnished with day-glow doors to improve their visibility during operations over ice. Both helicopters sports multiple pinguins mission markings on the doors. These Helibras built UH-13s will be replaced by UH-17s (Helibras built H135M) in 2019. The the Brazilian Airbus Helicopters company received a contract from the Brazilian Air Force for the delivery of three UH-17s.

This SK-61C (as the Swedish Air Force called the Bulldog) carried Hungarian marks. When this picture was taken the aircraft was removed from the register and for sale. The registration was removed from the plane.

The Pacific Missile Test Center was in 1991 the owner of this very early F/A-18. The 25th built Horne, and the eight B-version, made a very welcome touch-and-go at Nellis (CA) during a Green Flag exercise. Strikingly, this 1980 Hornet is still (July 2019) operational. It flies with Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23 Salty Dogs from NAS Patuxent River (MD). One of the reasons this very old Hornet is still flying is that it was extremely well maintained at a Flight Test aircraft but also because it was less stressed by carrier landings, deployments, air-to-air dogfights and so on.

A very rare visitor to the UK, this was in the static park at the Army Air Corps' 1984 Open Day.

The former XS109 in use for technical training. It still wears its old No. 4 FTS insignia on the fin. Later sold in the USA and registered N109XS.

This instructional airframe was on display as one of the static exhibits at the RAF Cosford Air Show 2015.

This was previously XR953 and had been used as instructional air frame. Later sold in the USA as N953RH.

Flying as a warbird in these markings since 1991, this Avenger carries it's original U S Navy bu number.

This F-4 is stored in the yard of the super Yanks Air Museum. The false USS Independence CV-62 markings were applied for a film and its definitive, true identity has become lost.
