Seen in the markings of the Central Flying School. This aircraft later became G-CBXT and it crashed and was destroyed with two fatalities in Gloucestershire on 1st November 2008

This C-12 served previously with VT-35/TW-4 at Corpus Christi. Texas before being retired to AMARG during Sept. 06 ahere she was originally assigned the PCN/Inventory No. AN5G0021 but now carries AXDS0003.

This rather rare Chipmunk, for North of the Border at any rate, was pictured landing after its flying display at the Heart of Scotland Air Show 2010.

This aircraft is actually part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (though of course from a later era) It is used to train pilots on tail-dragger aircraft and looks superb in a black livery

Rather similar to the Avro Anson, the Oxford was more modern, and a dedicated multi-engine and crew trainer. Thousands of Oxfords were built for the Commonwealth air training schools during WWII. This one was built by the Standard Motors company in the spring of 1943. It was G-AITB from 1946 until retired at Perth - Scone (EGPT) by Airwork Services Training in 1961.

This stunning replica is Argentinian built and registered. Seen at the LAA Rally it won the award for the best homebuilt aircraft. It is powered by a Rotec R3600 radial engine rather than the original rotary. The original Avro 504 first flew in 1913 and over 10,000 were built

The only time I got to see an Indian Connie... but I'm not complaining, what a fine sight! First delivered to Air India as VT-DJW "Rani of Bijapur" in 7.58; passed to the Air Force in 4.62 after freighter conversion. The Indian military was forced to retire its Constellations when Air India would no longer perform maintenance on them due to lack of spares; BG579 made the final flight on 31.3.84. BG583 was wfu at Pune in 1983 and apparently moved to Agra for storage for the IAF Museum. It survived there until at least late 1998, but its current status is unclear.
