Built in 1938 and later transferred to 263 Sqn of the RAF, where it was given it's HE-G code. After the German invasion in April 1940, it was one of 18 aircraft that was transferred to Norway on the carrier HMS Glorious. The RAF parked their aircraft in the slush on the ice and disregarding advice from the local Norwegian liaison officer. The aircraft were unattended and they froze into the ice during the night. When the Heinkels arrived in the morning, they were sitting ducks and most of 263 Sqd was obliterated . It was dismantled and hidden in a shed during the war years. The restoration process began in 1980.

First arrived in Norway in 1958 as part of NATO's Military Assistance Program and flown by 331, 336 and 338 Squadron. In 1961 it suffered a mid-air collision, but with only slight damage. It was taken out of service in 1966 andput into storage. In 1978 it was acquired by the museum, which restored it in the color scheme of 331 Squadron.

In the background former Braathens Fokker 28 (LN-SUC). Above that is a Piper 22 (LN-BND). But perhaps the most interesting thing in this shot is the wreckage in the bottom of the frame. Those are remnants from the crash of Partnair 394 in 1989.

Between 1945 and 1957, the Norwegian Air Force used this type as an advanced trainer. Although this exact frame has not served in the military, it has been painted as such.

This particular example was a gift from the RAF. It was never in active service in Norway and carries a fictional serial.

Assembled at the Kjeller aircraft factory and delivered to the Sønnenfjeldske Flying Unit in July 1921, where it served until 1928. In wintertime, the aircraft would be equipped with skis. the aircraft has been part of the museum's collection since 1995 and carries a serial that was inherited from an Avro 504A that crashed in 1919.

Ex 68-9102. It last served with the 336 Squadron and is now on display at the Norwegian Aviation Museum.

Built in 1942 at the AGO factory in Ochersleben. During a mission from Petsamo (Finland), the aircraft encountered a thick snowstorm and fuel starvation. The pilot bailed out and the aircraft crashed West of Kongsfjord. In 1986, the remnants of the wreck were taken down from the mountain for restoration.

Delivered to the Norwegian Air Force's flight school in 1922 and the 76th Kaje built. Now on static display at the aviation museum in Bodø. During its last active duty flight on 15 June 1931 it crashed when it struck the water surface. The aircraft remained at the bottom of the lake for 75 years before it was raised and later restored.

USAF 57-2247 built in 1957 as a T-37A, later converted to T-37B, to Norsk Luftfartsmuseum in Bodø in 1997. On the fin it carries a Euro NATO badge and the ATC badge

RAF N5641 built 1938, it was badly damaged in action at Lake Lesjaskog on 25 April 1940 while fighting in Norway. Later in 1940 it was recovered from the water and stored. From 1980 it was restored at Rygge and later went to the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum in Bodø. It carries the 263 Sqn code HE
