After being SOC this Texan carried the civil registrations N9676C and N12CC before coming to this super museum.

This Cayuse carries Aeroscouts of the 1st Infantry Division patch with the words 'Low Level Hell' emblazoned on it. The Outcasts, as they were known, flew low and slow as the aerial eyes of the division over the jungles of Vietnam

This PT-19 is in reality 42-2871 and at one time carried the civil registration NC38985.

Back to the UK with Atlantic Air Transport as G-BELF on 08 Oct 1987. To G-HEBZ on 21 Mar 2007. Registration cancelled on 08 Nov 2018 as PWFU.

This F-104 is a composite assembled from two former AMI Starfighters, MM6914 and MM6733 with the plane arriving at LIDH in July 2007. In May 2020 it was painted into this special scheme to commemorate the centenary of Arturo Ferrarin and Guido Masiero's 19,000 km Rome-to-Tokyo long distance flight. Only these two pilots of the initial eleven aircrews made it all the way from Italy to Japan, touching down within a hour of each other. Arturo Ferrarin was born in Thiene and as the first pilot to fly from Europe to Japan was also honoured as Altalia christened their second 747 after him in 1970.

To the civil register as VH-ASK on 19 Aug 1946 then VH-SNB on 19 Feb 1958. To the Strathallan Collection in 1974 for preservation then to the National Museum of Flight in 1981.
