Under restoration at Yanks Air Museum with the 10.1 gal. oil tank visible. This P-51A was delivered to the USAAC on 26 Apr 43. It has been painted as 43-6274/AX-H. Powered by an Allison V-1710-81 V-12, this model was an improvement over the P-51 (NA-91) with its V-1710-39 engine. Armament was changed from the long-barrelled 20mm Hispano to four 0.50 in Browning MGs. A contract was placed for 1,200 of which 310 were built, with 50 going to the RAF before production switched to the Merlin-powered P-51B. Under Col. Phil Cochran, the P-51A served as a fighter in 1ACG in the CBI theatre.

Boeing 737-8MAX MSN 42830 has had a bit of a chequered career for a six year old. Having been delivered in June 2017, it went into store in March 2019 and then seems to have been stored ever since. Parked at Marana in December 2022, one of ten there at the time, it then flew back to Norwich in February 2023, where it remains. Lovely to see Sir Freddie Laker commemorated on the tail but sad that he got so little air time! NB: Although painted as SE-RYJ, it was registered as OE-IDE on 14th July 2022.
