Ex 5Y-AMU, G-51-251. Re-engined with experimental Dowty-Rotol ducted fans, fitted in 1977 by Miles at Shoreham, in an attempt to reduce noise levels both inside and outside the aircraft. It apparently did reduce noise levels by 20 dB. Re-registered as a conventional BN2A-27 G-HGPC on 2 May 1984, and cancelled on 3 April 1989 on sale to Guyana as 8R-GGU. Damaged beyond repair in September 1994 in an accident in Guyana.
