The career of the AV-8A (S) Harrier with the Royal Thai Navy was rather short-lived. They were acquired from Spain in 1997 for service on board of the newly delivered carrier HTMS Chakri Naruebet. The fleet of Harriers was retired by 2006, and this example made it to the excellent Royal Thai Air Force Museum in Don Mueang by June 2017.

The third prototype with serial ThOR6-3/59 of the indigenous RTAF-6 trainer can be found with the excellent RTAF museum at Don Mueang. The design is clearly based on the well-known SF260 trainer, with a large turbo-prop. The under-nose intake is set further backwards compared to the first prototype.
