5" was an interesting event where light aircraft from all over Ecuador would meet up, and this time it was organised on the airfield "Paraíso". This "aeródromo" is located near the river Rio Blanco, which is situated between the provinces of Santo Domingo and Pichincha.

Backtracking for departure.

This airfield is seeing very little use which is really a shame. It is really not far from the resort town of Salinas, and does not suffer the same restrictions as Salinas military airport does. Dataplate checked by myself.

The club's finest during an in between stop at Santa Rosa, on their way to the airfield of Macará, close to the Peruvian border. Dataplate checked by myself.

Early morning at San Vicente airport; close to the city of Bahia de Caraquez. The following Rebeldes can be seen: Ibis Magic HC-U0046, "the Red Baron" HC-U0029 & a MXP150 Patriot, the HC-U0074. San Vicente Los Perales airport is a deserted place with a huge runway. Latest rumors have it that the Ecuadorian air-force may be using this beautiful beach-place soon. Shortly after this pic, 4 Rebeldes planes left San Vicente from Runway 33; for the "long" flight back to Guayaquil. Dataplate checked by myself.
