This EADS built EF2000 was first flown on 30 October 2013 and delivered to Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 74 (formerly known as Jagdgeschwader (JG) 74). It was later transferred to TLG31 and TLG73.

Only two RT-versions (radiotechical) of the Crate flew with the Czechoslovak AF. This example served from March 1959 with 47. pzlp (reconnaissance air regiment) at Mlada, then to 10. prtlo (anti-radiotechnical air detachment) at Prerov and then back to 47. pzlp, which had in the intervening period moved to Pardubice. The frame was retired 1965 and has been preserved at LKBU, as the only surviving RT since 1986.
