To Sky Airlines in June 2010, withdrawn from use in November 2012. To Pegasus in July 2013 as TC-IZD. Withdrawn from use in June 2019 and ferried to Shanghai for cargo converion between july 2019 - March 2020. To Sun Country in April 2020 as N547RL, reregistered N5161A in June 2020.

Delivered to the Royal Navy as XB480 in 1953. Damaged beyond repair in a heavy landing in 1961. Used as a ground trainer with maintenance serial A2577 at Manadon from 1963. To the Fleet Air Arm Museum in 1971.

Seen with no registration, this 747 freighter was built for Atlas Air, but it was not taken up. It first flew in April 2013 (registered N770BA) and after deals with several other customers fell through it was eventually delivered to Qatar Airways in December 2017 as A7-BGA.

Callsign F-RAFB

Stored for a number of years at OPF, this classic Convair was restored by Florida Air Transport for hauling freight to the Bahamas and other Caribbean destinations. The aircraft is being painted in quasi-USN colors and props were out for overhaul the day of my visit.

This Super DC-3 is one of two highly polished aircraft that were operated by TMF Aircraft until the company ceased operations in early 2017 .

Photographing a highly polished aircraft on sunny day on a crowded ramp can be a challenge! TMF Aircraft never seemed to have enough engines to keep both N32TN and N587MB in service. Both aircraft were highly polished and appeared to be in very good condition. Moved from Opa-locka to LaBelle Municipal Airport a few years ago, N32TN was destroyed by Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017.

Rumor has it that this very pretty turboprop DC-3 was flown to the US by its owner to avoid confiscation in Venezuela.

With Frank Moss in the left seat, this vintage DC-3 departs with another load of freight for the short flight to the Bahamas.
